I will be onsite offering free acupuncture! If you are in the Penticton area and would like to see for yourself what an Acudetox treatment feels like, come on by! Open to anyone impacted by the ongoing crisis, loved ones and service providers included. 

We are two days away from this event.

What we have witnessed these past weeks is how great our community is at showing up for people in crisis.

While the toxic drug crisis is a different beast, we do know that any crisis can't be managed or solved unless the entire community gets involved.

Our favourite conversations to have at these events are the people who take a chance and come learn about what we are doing locally to support anyone affected by the epidemic that is killing our family and loved ones.

So please, if there is any small voice or inclination to learn more, but you have never taken the leap to attend one of these events, we want you here, we NEED you here.

Low Cost Community Acupuncture is back! July 2 in Gyro Park, at the Penticton Night Market. Only $50, with direct billing to insurance, and MSP for low income, PWD, and status First Nations folks with a Care Card number. Soak up the music and the vibes and get some healing work done at the same time. Instant pain relief, internal health concerns, quitting smoking, sleep problems, allergies, stress? Honestly couldn't think of a sweeter bunch to share a meal (and a love for Chinese medicine) with! Say hello to the first seasonal gathering of South Okanagan acupuncturists and Doctors / Practitioners of Chinese Medicine 🥰Everyone here brings their own specialized post-graduate training ~and their own personal flair to their practice, you'd be in good hands with any one of them! Already looking forward to the next one. And thanks for the beautiful eats!

One hour Herbal Lecture:
Wildcrafting Ethics at the Summerland Library. Wednesday, May 13 4:30pm - 5:30pm. $5 for adults, teens and kids 18 and younger free.

Focus will be on where and where NOT to forage, sustainability of various plants, protecting endangered plants and risk management.
Some basic plant ID will be discussed.

Love and gratitude to the moms, caregivers, stepmoms, single moms, poppas who have to be mamas too, trans & nb parents and caregivers of all genders, q***r moms & drag moms, street moms, elder moms, unwell moms, spirit moms, people missing their moms, people who lost their moms, survivors of abusive moms & caregivers, mothers separated by borders / prisons / quarantine, moms who had to say goodbye to their children, those who wanted to but never got to be moms, folks who had to be their own mom, our own internal mothers, furbaby moms, plant moms, animal moms, and any other mamas i'm leaving out. I pray for moms and mother relationships that need healing at this time, for the much needed return of the matriarchy, and for us all to be more kind and respectful to our shared mama earth 💜
