At ClearWater Farm, a project of the Ontario Water Centre, we engage in active learning with youth to inform and inspire a strong sense of place. We believe that a water-wise connection with the land is essential to regenerative farming and leads to sustainability and food security. Our Young Agri-preneurs grow fresh, healthy food, and support the economy. Our Georgina barn is being rebuilt to connect the community and our ClearWaterKids.org site is inspiring the wonder years generation.

As we head into fall and the colder months, our Vertical Farm Hub keeps growing strong! 🌱✨

Thanks to its controlled environment, our vertical farm isn’t affected by the changing weather outside — meaning we can continue growing fresh, local produce all year round. 💚

Right now, we’re growing Monte Carlo lettuce and Rex lettuce heads, bringing fresh greens to our community no matter the season! 🥬🌿

A little bit of summer is still blooming in our greenhouse! 🌱✨ This beautiful sunflower is bringing some extra sunshine to ClearWater Farm as we head into the changing seasons.

There’s nothing quite like a bright bloom to remind us that there’s always something growing at the farm! 🌻🌿

Keeping the tomatoes going a little longer 🍅🌱

With a cooler-than-usual summer, we’re giving our tomatoes a little help by transplanting them into the greenhouse. The extra warmth creates the conditions they need to grow faster and keep producing well into the later part of the season. 🌿

Sometimes farming is all about adapting to what the season gives you. 💚
