WillowGrove Pharmacy & Supplements is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and compassionate Pharmacy Assistant to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting day-to-day pharmacy operations, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with prescription preparation and workflow management.
Previous pharmacy or hospital experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn.

โข Minimum one (1) year of pharmacy or hospital experience preferred, though training will be provided for the right candidate
โข Formal Pharmacy Assistant training is considered an asset
โข Comfortable using computers, pharmacy software, and point-of-sale (till) systems in a fast-paced environment
(Experience with Kroll pharmacy software and automation systems is considered an asset)
โข Valid driverโs license required
โข Strong verbal and written English communication skills required to effectively assist patients, process prescriptions, and communicate with healthcare professionals
โข Excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for helping people of all ages
โข Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
โข Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while contributing effectively to a team
โข Strong multitasking and time-management abilities
โข Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check is required

โข Assist with prescription preparation and assembly in accordance with pharmacy procedures
โข Process prescription pick-up and release transactions accurately and efficiently
โข Enter and maintain patient information using pharmacy software systems (Kroll experience is considered an asset)
โข Receive and process in-person and telephone prescription refill requests
โข Assist with compliance packaging and pill pack assembly
โข Prepare and receive pharmacy drug orders and maintain inventory levels
โข File prescriptions and assist with ordering, stocking, and replenishing pharmacy supplies
โข Perform pharmacy maintenance duties, including cleaning and organization of workspaces
โข Support administrative functions, including cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and return-to-stock processing
โข Provide delivery and transportation services as required
โข Adhere to pharmacy policies, procedures, and organizational standards
โข Assist with additional pharmacy operations as required
