Most people assume va**ng is a milder addiction than smoking. The numbers tell a different story:

‼️ A single v**e bar can contain more ni****ne than a full pack of ci******es - in a device that looks cute and comes in mango flavour.

In New Brunswick, va**ng is now more common than smoking among youth and most parents don't see it coming. Our teens deserve a ni****ne-free life.

On International Overdose Awareness Day, we remember those whose lives have been lost to overdose, honour the families and communities who continue to grieve, and stand in solidarity with everyone affected by substance use.

By learning the signs of an overdose, increasing access to life-saving tools such as naloxone, supporting harm reduction initiatives and challenging stigma, we can help save lives and connect people to the care and supports they need.

Everyone deserves compassion, dignity and access to culturally safe, trauma-informed care and support.
