This year we were asked to sponsor and volunteer with Fashion Week Windsor, our makeup teammates Danielle, Jordyn, Meghan, Jaden and myself stepped up to the request. That networking opportunity lead to us being asked to help out with a small series coming out on Your TV Windsor to do makeup for the host!. Sometimes people wonder why Ive always tried to volunteer where I can and this is 100% why. Throughout my 15 years here in Kingsville, community theatre has helped me meet so many wonderful people. Getting involved in community fashion, community theatre and now community TV work helps the younger generations of stylists and makeup artists I get to work, with have opportunities within our career that isn't just behind the chair. I firmly believe getting out and using your skills to help out your community is such an important part of growing both as an artist, but also in becoming apart of the fabric of your community. Stay tuned, we will let you know the name of the new show the girls are working on!
