Today was a busy day!

In the morning a small group of residents had some Chinese food for lunch!

In the afternoon we had a big carnival! Carnival consisted of games, prizes, cotton candy, popcorn, freshly squeezed lemonade, tattoos, and lots of laughs. 🎟️🍭🍿

It was an awesome day! 🩷

The 1st jubilee lodge car show was a great success! It was so wonderful for all of the residents to enjoy and for the community to come together for the event.

We would like to thank everyone that came and supported our event. For everyone that brought their vehicles and for Cindy’s independent who donated the supplies for our BBQ. The Kinistino bar, Kinistino Co-op gas station, Melfort golf course who all donated supplies for our raffle baskets. Raffle basket winners were won by Al Eros and Corey Richards.

The car show raised $2,035.25 for the recreation department!! Such an amazing turnout for our first ever car show.

The fan favourite was the 1949 3100 Chev truck that was brought by Leo Denis from Domremy,Sk. The winner received $270 from the registration fees and he very kindly donated it all back to our rec department!

Hope to see you all again next year!

Reminder jubilee lodge car show Saturday June 20th event starts at 1pm! You can still register vehicles day of the event.

Meyers ave along side the lodge from the corner of Meyers/Dixon to Meyers/Main will be closed from 12:30-4:30 for the show. Barricades will be set up.

Proceeds will go to the rec department! So come grab a burger and look some vehicles and vote for your favourite!

Today we spent the gloomy day indoors making fried bannock. Luckily we have an amazing resident who guided us and taught us all her trips and tricks. It was a great afternoon learning for the residents and also for staff!
