OFFERING: the first six people responding to this will get a quick reading for free. I am planning to do only one a week so you are also gifted an opportunity to practice patience.

I have been getting a lot of abundance signs so only the universe knows if I bust out moves and do them with lightning speed.

Thank you for responding to my request to do service.

I am working this affirmation:

Self care is my first priority. When I honour my needs first, the world honours me in return.

What are you working?

09/24/2021

Tell me, how did you keep your heart when the world turned its back?
How did you hold your grasp on hope when the universe flipped topsy-turvy and all that you knew turned to dust?
How did you regain your power when the room went black?
Tell me, in the hours of secret darkness, where we lie on the smooth white sheets and whisper into the shadows, how it is that you still resolve, again and forever again, to love the world even when she strikes out from the source of all her deep wells of pain?
How is it that you continue to light candles for miracles and throw pennies in fountains and wish on every last shooting star even when you are the holder of an infinities of abandonments?
How do you stay with yourself when the demons are grasping at your feet?
How do you hold yourself on the long and lonely nights?
How do you remember the birthright of your own sovereign belonging?
Remember,
Your heart is a benediction of miracles
Your heart is a five alarm fire that brings life to the darkest of spaces.
Your heart is a super hero phone booth transforming the ordinary into extraordinary in the blink of an eye.
Somewhere in the world they are considering your canonization to sainthood for the sheer fact of your tenacious insistence on turning to the light.
A little girl on the other side of the ocean sketches your exact heart in red crayon and her mother tacks it on the fridge because somehow she knows that this is a heart to remember.
A leaf on a small branch on a tree in Brooklyn is reaching a little harder for the sunlight because the breath In your lungs gives that much life even from thousand of miles away.
An old woman up north closes her eyes at night and watches you patch your own cracks with layers of glitter and gold and somehow she knows that there is more life left in her yet.
There is an altar in the middle of the forest in a land most consider make believe where your heart the symbol of the divine.
So, tell me, please, how did you keep your heart?
We need to know.
So that we may learn to keep our own hearts.
Safe in the protection of our rib cage,
Open to access every pinpoint of love.
Refusing to be subdued or claimed.
Building itself from the wreckage
Leaving the blueprints behind for all of the rest of us.
Tell me, how did you keep your heart?
We must know so that we find a way to save ourselves.

Growth is such a loaded concept.

I have been working on "without attachment. " Right now it feels like the only thing happening is an increased awareness of just how attached I am to everything.

Eager to have you share how you manage growth. Or even voice your questions about growth.

I am blessed in my life. I have a beautiful relationship with my daughter and family, a partner who loves me, beautiful home and fur babies... And yet an undercurrent of sadness.

Listening to Tara Brach about surrender.

Any interest in discussing surrender?

Gratitude and release

As I prepare myself to enter into a new year, it seems appropriate to plant my feet in the here and now. In order to do that there are a few things I want to celebrate and understand those moments are passed.

So I am going to share here a few things that brought me joy and peace at some point in 2020. I am grateful for:

Zen Den and community. I loved the hugs and sharing. I loved the learning and growing.

Kawartha Lakes Library and the conversations with librarians and puzzles on tables.

Parks and beaches where I made friends for an hour and experienced things like forest therapy and sidewalk chalk galleries.

Coffee or tea chats, potlucks and shared lunches in close proximity wherebI could see the sparkle in your eyes and feel our spirits mingling.

I sing my praises to each moment and heartbeat and I release you. May I love with less attachment this year and with greater depth.

We are living in strange new times. Times I could not have imagined a year ago. I want to feel excited about how surprising the world might look a year from now.

I would appreciate hearing what you feel grateful for and can release.

Blessed be.
