15 hours in the air and I’ve just landed in Taiwan. Most travelers are looking for the nearest coffee shop or duty-free store, but my first priority is this: a manual dialysis exchange right here in the airport.
The journey from Canada was a test of patience, 90 minutes of technical support calls at midnight just to clear my machine through security. It was stressful, exhausting, and a reminder of how high the stakes are. But I stayed calm, I stayed focused, and I made the flight.
Now, I’m prepping for the final leg to the Philippines. This isn't just a trip; it’s a mission to find a donor and a second chance at life. My body might be tired, but my spirit is 100% ready.
Next stop: Manila to Cagayan de Oro.
