Notice if they are feeling temporary muscle soreness from tissue manipulations, such as stiffness. This is a sign of the body adjusting to the release of compensation patterns and tension, the fascia is re-organizing and toxins are releasing. Provide light hand-walking, groundwork or extra turnout time post session if your horse is presenting stiffness.

Notice any licking, chewing or yawning, a full-body shake, increased water intake and bathroom activity. Visible skin changes such sweat patches and/ or raised blood vessels (perfectly normal and usually resolves within a day).
All great signs of further release and processing!
