CORE TRAINING 🧠💪

Your core is more than just “abs.” A strong, well-controlled core helps improve stability, force transfer, posture, and movement during sport and everyday activities.

Try these exercises to build:
✅ Core strength
✅ Trunk control
✅ Anti-rotation stability
✅ Better movement quality

Save this for your next workout or rehab session 📌

🚶‍♀️ Fall prevention starts with better movement.

These three exercises target key components of safe walking and balance:

1️⃣ Hip flexion with isometric ankle dorsiflexion (using a resistance band around the feet)
➡️ Improves foot clearance to help reduce the risk of tripping.

2️⃣ Forward and backward long-step training
➡️ Promotes stride length, dynamic balance, and confidence with weight transfer during walking.

3️⃣ Controlled backward weight shifts (standing with your back toward a wall)
➡️ Challenges your limits of stability and trains your body to confidently shift weight backward without losing balance.

Falls aren’t just about strength—they’re about coordination, balance, and confidence. Training these movement patterns can help you walk more safely and move with greater control.

⚠️ Always perform balance exercises with a sturdy support nearby and under the guidance of a healthcare professional if you’re at risk of falling

LANDMINE ZERCHER SPLIT SQUAT 🔥
A deceptively challenging lower-body exercise that lights up your core, builds resilient posture, and trains your hips through a unique loading angle.

WHY I LIKE IT ⬇️

✅ Core-focused — the front-loaded position demands constant bracing

✅ Keeps postural muscles engaged — upper back, lats, and trunk work throughout the set

✅ Lateral lean engages the hips — creating a strong stimulus for the glutes

✅ Versatile stance options — adjust your split stance to emphasize either the anterior or posterior chain

KEY CUES 🎯

🔹 Place the barbell securely in the crook of your elbows

🔹 Keep elbows close to your body and engage your lats

🔹 Maintain active extension through the thoracic spine

🔹 Lean your entire body toward the landmine, not just your torso

🔹 Stay braced and controlled throughout the movement

Early gait training after ACL reconstruction surgery is an important component in post surgical rehab 🦵
Emphasis is placed on achieving normalized gait pattern while respecting post surgical precautions.

Key points:
- ✅ Reduction of compensatory patterns
- ✅ Symmetry step length
- ✅ Cueing for proper heel strike and toe-off
- ✅ Gradual progression from brace use to normal free movement

Plantar Fasciitis isn’t just a foot problem — it’s a strength & control problem. 👣🔥

If you want lasting relief, you need to load, mobilize, and retrain your foot — not just stretch it.

Try this sequence:

1️⃣ Toes Elevated Heel Raises
Build strength through the plantar fascia while improving tolerance to load.

2️⃣ Knee + Ankle Rocks (Dorsiflexion Mobilization + Tibialis Raise)
Unlock ankle mobility and activate the front of your shin for better foot mechanics.

3️⃣ Arch Control Balance (Band Pull)
Train your arch to resist collapse — this is where real stability starts.

4️⃣ Toe Piano
Independence = control. Control = less strain on your plantar fascia.

💡 Aim for 2–3 sets of 10 reps each, and 30 seconds for balance
💡 Slow, controlled reps > rushing
💡 Consistency is what actually fixes this
