I've been putting off making this post for a long time now. It is with a heavy heart I'm announcing that, after 13 years tattooing, I've decided it's time for me to move on to something new.
I love tattooing so much. It has brought me so much joy, fulfillment and freedom over the years. I've met SO many incredible people from all walks of life. I've used it as a means of travel, to fundraise and so much more.
Unfortunately, the last few years have brought me a lot of personal hardships, including some pretty major physical ones, that I just can't overcome. There's no way I can make it to retirement like this, so I've known for a while it was time to make a change.
But like a true artist/hopeless romantic, I'm following another passion, I will be returning to school next year to pursue my degree in Conservation Biology 😊
So what happens now?!
The shop will remain open! Abbey () and Emm () will continue working full-time at
This summer I will be focusing on finishing pieces that are currently in progress (and a few of you that have already messaged for new work) on a month to month basis. I hope to get back to all of you who are already on my list by the end of the week to book in for June.
I have not been working for the past week, and may take off this week still due to stress, but I'm doing my best to get back at it as soon as possible.
If you have work that you would like to get finished by me, or want one more small piece before I go, please email me at [email protected] with what you are hoping to get done. I have a lot of emails I haven't got back to yet, but if you're worried I may have missed you, please reach out again.
I will also come sporadically through the school years back up to work some weekends at the shop doing flash pieces and possible custom work.
I want to thank you all SO freaking much for all of the love and support over the years. I'm so grateful to all of you for supporting me for so long, and I hope you can all understand what an incredibly hard decision this was to make.
Love always,
Jac 🖤
