I made another beach soap but instead of a blue sky I wanted to try doing a pink one.
My goal was to create a sunset like the ones I see at the Pinery. Where the sun is at water level and creating a purply, pink sky.

Im happy with the results but of course there are always little things I’d like to tweek. What do you think?

I even thought the scraps from my bevelling looked nice 😆

It's the moment some of you have been waiting for 😄.... SOAP CLASSES.

Okay so this is very new to me so I'm looking for people to attend my very first soap classes who will give me some grace as well as constructive feedback along the way. Even little things like spelling errors throughout the booking process.

If you are interested please go to my website at www.hivetohome.net and read the "Soap Workshop Information" section, and then go to "Workshop Sign Up" to see the classes available and dates.

I couldn't add everything into one calender so here are the classes that I will be testing out...

* Gentle Oat; April 21st: 11am - 2pm
* Dish Soap; April 23rd: 11am - 2pm
* Elemental Series; April 25th: 11am - 2pm and April 28th 6:30pm - 8pm
* Lavender/Citrus; May 1st: 1pm - 4pm
* Shave Bars; May 2nd: 12pm - 3pm
* Lip Balms; May 3rd: 12pm - 3pm

I don't think they will take the 3 hours but I just put that time in case they do. Also, if these go well, I would like to add lots more classes in the future. Ones that have more creativity, designs, and complexities.

Guys I'm really excited to share that I'm juuuust about ready to run some soaping workshops. I have supplies ready to go, a simple information brochure, and a lye waiver form.

Now my question to you is... what soap would you like to see a workshop for? I'm thinking a "Gentle Oat" one since it's simple and basic. Also, "Lavender" or "Lavender Citrus" since it's fairly easy as well. As I go, I will add more difficult classes for those who did a basic one.

If you are interested shoot me a message to let me know, and perhaps if there is a specific soap you'd be interested in learning to make.

Not soap related buuut I’ve been collecting Pokemon stuff for my kids this past year and some of the extra stuff I’ve used to fill Pokeball that I turned into piggy banks.
I have some other Pokemon stuff available as well.

1) Pokeball piggy banks packed with Pokemon stuff ($60)

2) Pokemon keychains. I can actually customize them to be anything, like K-Pop or even a family photo. ($5)

3) Variety sleeve packs. Mega pack has 35 different sleeves and is $10. Smaller packs available as well.

Here are my gift box sets that are available. All available soaps, lip balms, and samplers are posted here.

I’m trying to make it as simple as possible to shop from home and customize your gift box. Just let me know the # soap you want, the letter next to the lip balm, and the s # for the sampler and I will make that set up.

Soaps on their own are $7 each or 4 for $25.
Lip balms are $3, 2 for $5, or 4 for $9. The dish soap with luffa is $9. 

Pick up at 1654 Sprucewood Ave, LaSalle or at the event center market on the 20th and 21st.le
