Weeee bit of a surprise from me! I’m moving/moved toooooo ~*EDMONTON*~ !!!
~ Some of you know this has been an idea of mine for a bit that I’ve hummed back and fourth about for a while now; always worrying about the “what if’s” of everyone I’d be ‘leaving behind’ for now…
I finally needed to make the decision for myself to get out of this little city that’s trapped me in its clutches of the same repetitive cycle of grief.
It’s coming up on two years since I went through what I can only describe as most people’s worst nightmare, losing my partner of 8 years, suddenly.
I only *let* myself feel the grief for about a month before I was getting messages from clients and friends wondering when I’d be ready to jump back into work…
I lost him October 22; and I was in the chair tattooing again before Christmas.. And then I just kinda ‘powered’ through the next year and a half the ‘best’ I could.
I’ve been appearing fine on the outside; but really I’ve been struggling with grief and emotions and I finally need to seek the help to figure them out fully, So I can be the best me I can be. ESPECIALLY the best me I can be for my clients.
THIS IS NOT GOODBYE FOREVER; I PROMISE!
I WILL be back OFTEN to visit friends and family; and will organize to guest spot alongside my amazing Tattoo fam at while I am home to get everyone’s tattoo needs fulfilled!!
*Huge appreciation for all my work family at OMNIA being so understanding and supportive to me through this super hard decision to leave for a bit! I couldn’t have made this decision and had it be so positive had I not been surrounded by such an amazing group of human beings!!!*

&&& YES !!! I WILL be looking for somewhere to tattoo in Edmonton once I’m all settled in and have a good healthy routine started for myself!
& I WILL continue to post tattoos I’ve gotten to do this year as a way to stay fresh in your minds till I’m back ;)
