🐾 A Reminder to Keep Pets Safe 🐾

This dog's family experienced every pet owner's nightmare when their beloved companion got loose and went missing.

When they were finally found and brought in for assessment, X-rays revealed hundreds of BB pellets throughout their body.

Thankfully, this patient is now safe, receiving care, and surrounded by people who love them.

While we may never know exactly what happened, this case serves as an important reminder of why secure fencing, proper identification, microchips, and leashes are so important. Even the friendliest pets can find themselves in dangerous situations when they're on their own.

We're wishing this brave pup a smooth recovery and many safer adventures ahead. ❤️

What started as a small team outing with just 9 people has grown into an incredible tradition with 16 team members joining us this year! ❤️

Last week, our crew traded scrubs and stethoscopes for saddles and cowboy boots as we headed out for our annual horseback riding adventure. From experienced riders to first-timers, everyone had an amazing time exploring the trails, sharing laughs, and making memories outside of the clinic.

We're so grateful to have such an incredible team that continues to grow each year. The friendships we build outside of work help make us stronger inside the clinic, and we couldn't have asked for a better day together! 🤠🌲🐎

Here's to another successful annual trip and many more adventures to come!

🐾 Pet Anxiety: More Common Than You Think! 🐾

Just like people, pets can experience anxiety too. While some signs are obvious, others can be easy to miss.

Common signs of anxiety in pets may include:
🐕 Pacing or restlessness
🐈 Hiding more than usual
🐾 Excessive barking or vocalizing
💔 Destructive behavior when left alone
👅 Excessive licking or chewing
😟 Trembling or shaking
🚽 House-soiling despite being house-trained
🥺 Clinginess or difficulty settling

Anxiety can be triggered by many things, including loud noises, changes in routine, being left alone, travel, veterinary visits, or even underlying medical conditions.

The good news? There are many ways we can help. From environmental changes and training strategies to supplements and medications, there are options available to improve your pet's comfort and quality of life.
