Each pair is created with intention, beauty, and meaning — carrying the spirit and teachings of sweetgrass with you wherever you go. Sweetgrass is deeply symbolic, traditionally braided with 21 strands.

• The first 7 strands represent the 7 generations behind us — our parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, and ancestors whose strength and guidance shaped who we are today.

• The next 7 strands represent the 7 sacred teachings: Love, Respect, Honesty, Courage, Wisdom, Truth, and Humility.
