What an experience Football Canada Cup 2026 was 🏈 from unruly heatwave days (47C humidex with no AC 🥵), to smoke causing air quality issues and just about everything in between 😅 but there were definitely some amazing highlights to the trip :

✨ meeting some of the provinces best u18 football althetes
✨ that first feeling of walking onto a professional football field (makes you feel so small!)
✨ meeting some amazing ATs from across the country
✨ getting to work with MP SPORT THERAPY again (but this time on opposing benches)
✨ being reunited with a handful of friends I went to Acadia with years later
✨ getting to go to Rugby Canada vs. Zimbabwe Rugby Union game!
✨ meeting another Atlantic provinces AT Gillian Gilmore in person (and not just over Zoom calls)

Thank you to all my clients supporting my work adventures and being patient for my return 🫶🏻

If you’ve tried to contact me within the last bit, I have been on vacation! ☀️ (and WiFi issues lol)

I can’t believe I was slacking so hard on the social media updates recently OOPS 🙊

If you’re a regular visitor to the clinic though, you know my significant other just moved home and we are starting our life off together with a sunny vacation 🫶🏻 but ending with me being dropped off at the airport to head out to Manitoba with Football NS for Football Canada Cup 🏈

Unfortunately, that means the clinic is closed for most of July 😅 I will be back in office Monday July 27th

I’m hoping to have some downtime out west to get to any emails and Facebook messages!

Over the weekend I had the pleasure of working with the Canadian Men’s Classics take on the USA in Halifax 🏉

Field work is where I’m happiest and this was definitely a game that kept us busy 🫠 sprains, strains, and bloody faces/noses!

Thank you so much to the Lady Cougars for inviting me to tag along for their Hot on The Ice tournament this weekend 💜

It was so much fun watching the smiles, laughter and mini dances on ice when the song hit right ✨

If you’ve seen some of my stories so far this weekend, you’ll know I’ve been at the rink 🏒

What you may not realize is that I am, forever and always, first off an Athletic Therapist (before an Osteopathic Manual Therapist) and that AT is my passion 🤩

I love the atmosphere of sport, I grew up playing anything and everything and still maintain an active for life lifestyle so being part of the world that can keep others safe and healthy is AMAZING ✨

What a horrible way to wake up, finding out another local business is going through tragedy right across the road.

For KS Wellness clients today - I will remain open. However, if you feel you would be better staying home/with your kids or loved ones, please know there will be no charge to do so 🫶🏻 If you would still like to come, the section of road in front of my house is open, but if you’re trying to come from town, please respect the road closure and come around via the 103 through exit 18.

My thoughts are with all the employees/their families, the owner, the firefighters and anyone else involved 🤍

during the Spring Session KS Wellness was read into the Legislature 🤭 so let’s open my letter from .masland together 🙌🏼✨

Thank you to Kim and her office for recognizing myself/ KS Wellness Services for the hard work that’s been put in to keep the South Shore healthy 🥰

BUT I wouldn’t be here without all the amazing clientele of KS Wellness 🫶🏻 every now and again I hear all the good things brought up about the clinic around town and it makes me so happy that my vision of a warm and inviting space to heal has been made into just that 🥹

I can’t wait to see where the next steps take us!
