Fibrocystic breasts are incredibly common. That doesn’t mean they can’t be uncomfortable, frustrating, or sometimes a little alarming when you don’t understand what’s happening.
Many women experience:
• lumpiness or thickened tissue
• tenderness or swelling
• aching, burning, or heaviness
• changes that fluctuate with their cycle
Hormones often play a significant role, which is why symptoms can come and go over time.
One of the biggest things I want women to understand is this:
“Lumpy” does not automatically mean dangerous. But changes still deserve attention and monitoring.
This is where understanding your own normal becomes so important.
Things like stress, inflammation, sleep, nutrition, hormonal shifts, caffeine intake, and overall health can all influence how breast tissue behaves.
Thermography doesn’t diagnose fibrocystic breasts. What it does do is help observe physiological and thermal patterns over time… adding another layer of information when monitoring breast health.
Not every change is catastrophic. But your body is always communicating.
Pay attention.
Monitor thoughtfully.
Support your body well.
