Dreaming about warmer days by doing a different take on fish chips with homemade breaded fish sticks and wild rice. I'm using some frozen fish filets that we had in the freezer that we had caught while enjoying time at the lake this summer as a family. Then swapped out the fries for a wild rice blend (just because we have enjoyed potatoes a bit to much over the holidays!).

Hey everyone! I'm excited to be part of an exciting health retreat that will be running June 21 to 25 and then another week in July at Camp Yowochas located at the beautiful Wabamun Lake.

We will be focusing on nutrition, physical activity and overall improving your lifestyle with a focus on chronic conditions.

We are looking to focus on improving the health of people who may be dealing with blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, triglyceride issues or on any medications to treat these conditions.

There is a small cost to participate ($250/person) but this covers all meals, lodging, activities, sessions, etc.

It's going to be a blast and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. There are limited spots available and they are filling up fast so message me now if you want to join in on the fun!

I'm part of a group on Facebook where it's sole existence is to post what you had for supper?

So I'm throwing it out to all of you beautiful people, what did you have for supper????

We had a 'Heather's Special' which meant scrounging for inspiration at 5:00pm in the freezer, where I found frozen turkey breasts and broccoli. Grabbed the instant pot, put it on sautΓ© with the turkey breasts and some garlic for a few minutes and then added vegetable soup stock, some macaroni noodles, nutritional yeast, mustard, cheese, the bag of frozen broccoli and put it on to cook for 15 minutes!

Did some tofu up for myself on the side and tada! Supper is done and I got two πŸ‘πŸ» up from the kids.

My go to snacks are an apple and peanut butter or veggies and hummus and lately there has been the odd leftover easter 🍬 still sneaking in there! 😊

What do you like to snack on?
