Starting June 29th through to Labour Day we will be having slightly different hours for the summer! ☀️

The hours will be as follows:

Monday - 12pm-8pm
Tuesday - 8am-4pm
Wednesday - 9am-8pm
Thursday - 8am-5pm
Friday - 8am-3pm
Every other Saturday 9am-1pm

This means we will have reduced evening appointment slots. As they are very popular, this is your reminder to book ahead!

With the warmer weather, it’s natural to feel the urge to jump back into activities you may have put on pause all winter.

Just keep in mind… things might feel a bit stiff or slower than you remember — and that’s completely normal.

• Stay hydrated throughout your workouts

With spring upon us 🌸 people are starting to get back into the activities they love 🏃🏽‍♂️.

Just a reminder to warm up properly and start slow 🙆‍♂️.

If you took time off from activity this winter, you won’t have the same capacity as last year. You will have to pull back the frequency and intensity of the activity and slowly ramp up again.

You also need to spend 5-10 mins of DYNAMIC mobility before your activity. Keep the static stretching for AFTER your workout.

📣Here’s my core and mobility routine that I do throughout the week ever since becoming pregnant!

Just to clarify, these exercises are just as effective even if you aren’t pregnant!

These are ones that I have found most beneficial to me in my core strengthening and mobility as I prepare my body for what’s to come!

Here’s what I’m including!

✔️Loaded thoracic extension
✔️Pigeon pose w/ thoracic spine rotation
✔️Quadruped hip shifts
✔️Hooklying march w/band reach
✔️Frog pose - focus on deep belly breathing

We have news.. 👀

🙌🏻 Dr. Amy is pregnant with baby #2!! 🙌🏻

There will be some changes to the schedule this coming summer.
Dr. Amy will be seeing patients up until the beginning of August. She will be on maternity leave until next spring.

In the meantime, Dr. Nick is available for any of Dr. Amy's current patients.
