Your body makes its own antioxidant.
It’s called glutathione and it’s responsible for protecting your cells, supporting your immune system, neutralizing free radicals, and even how your skin ages.
The problem? It declines with age. And everyday life depletes it faster than most of us realize.
• Poor sleep drains it. (And let’s be honest... how many of us are actually getting deep, restorative sleep every night?)
• Overtraining depletes it. A lot of women in their 40s and 50s are pushing hard - trying to keep our strength and muscle, tough workouts, work, family and not recovering enough.
• Stress burns through it.
• Toxins use it up.
• Even just aging lowers it.
So yes eating well, moving your body, and lowering your toxic load all matter. But for a lot of us, lifestyle alone isn’t enough to keep up with the demand.
That’s why the precursors matter so much. Your cells can’t absorb glutathione directly from a supplement but they can use the building blocks to make it themselves. That’s the difference between throwing money at a product that doesn’t work and actually supporting your cells at the source.
I’m intentional about what I put in my body. And this is one I won’t go without.
Curious what I use and why? Drop GLUTA in the comments and I’ll send you the details.
