Making up for all the years, not getting a tree planted on Arbour Day by planting 37 semi-bare rooted mixed deciduous and Evergreen trees in a wooded area in Mono township. The area has been thinned of rapidly declining Ash Pine and Spruce over several years and we are replanting the area with various native species including Red Oak, White Pine, White Spruce and Black Cherry. All trees were carefully lifted from their winter resting spot, planted into pre-dug holes, covered with amended soil staked and watered.
