Important Notice: Friday, September 4, 2026

Due to town-wide water conservation measures and directives, emOcean Wellness Centre will be CLOSED tomorrow, Friday, September 4th.

The Pool will remain OPEN for members, however, please note that showers will NOT be permitted.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we do our part to support the community during these conservation measures.

Please stay tuned for updates regarding Saturday's operating hours and any further changes. We will share additional information as it becomes available.

We are delighted to welcome Janet Murphy, RMT, to the emOcean Wellness Centre team!

Janet joins us on a part-time basis, expanding our massage therapy services and giving our clients even more opportunities to invest in their health and well-being.

With a special interest in supporting individuals living with Parkinson's disease, caring for older adults, and providing deep tissue massage therapy, Janet brings a compassionate, client-centred approach to every treatment.

She tailors each session to meet individual needs, whether the focus is pain relief, improved mobility, stress reduction, or overall wellness.

Construction is underway on the back exterior wall of our building as we complete some important improvements to our space. (Pelham Street side).

During this time, you may notice a bit more noise than usual, and parking may be somewhat limited at times. We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding while this necessary work is being completed.

On May 30th I will be participating (walking, not running just yet!) in The Endo Network's Run To End Endo that is being hosted by The Endometriosis Network Canada and am looking for your support. All funds raised will help provide resources for those living with endometriosis and support research to better understand this disease that currently has no cure and can be life altering, (as you may already know).

As spring arrives with its sense of hope, healing, and brighter days ahead, our darling Jolene would like to share a personal update with the valued clients, friends, and supporters whose kindness has meant so much throughout her health journey.

A love note to my valued clients and friends,

Spring is a time for rebirth and renewal. As many of you know I have been struggling with my health due to endometriosis - but I have some good news to share! I will be having surgery on April 10th! To say I am looking forward to it is an understatement!

At this time, I would like to thank all of my clients and friends for your kindness and understanding each and every day. I would also like to extend gratitude to all of my teammates working hard behind the scenes for their support and care all throughout. Honorable mentions include Alexa for efficiently juggling my schedule, Kristen for stepping in to accommodate extra appointments, and Jane, our business owner with a heart bigger than the town.

After surgery I am expected to be off work for 6-8 weeks and while I will miss seeing each of you dearly, my focus will be on recovering so that I can return with a pep in my step feeling better than ever!

Without all of you wonderful people in my life this would be much more difficult to go through. I am so grateful for my emOcean family and my job, that is so much more than just a job!
