Here is a "Flash Special" until the end of January 1, 2025. Last year we offered 11 - 9 hole game passes for $170. Including HST. This will not happen again as Green Fees are going up in price. Number 7 green and fairway is looking so good. Rough is hacked back about 7' on each side, cut to 1.25, fairway is reel cut to .55 green is cut to .45 of an inch. Taking it down to .35 this week and we'll be open on .2 for the 2025 season! Still time to enjoy the course, $10 green fees Monday to Thursday for the rest of the season with a non perishable food donation for the local food pantry. Happy hour alcohol pricing all day every day.

Fall course update!

Fairways, every single one is able to be cut with the reel mower and are getting cut regularly. We started the season cutting at just over an inch, currently cutting at just over .65 of an inch. Next season we'll be dropping the reels to cut at .4 of an inch. We'll be cutting them (and open for business) until the frost comes and they go dormant.

Greens. Our timeline for getting them down to .2 by the end of August was delayed. As much as we were sanding and fertilizing, they just didn't want to fill in. We let them grow out the last 3 weeks and they're currently nice and lush. We're cutting them down to .45 of an inch. INCLUDING 2,7,8 AND 9! Meaning all our greens will be at the same height. Next week we'll be taking them down 25% and so on until the frost comes and they go dormant. Next season we should be on .2 of an inch right out of the gate, which is what we plan to keep them at. Sanding/hardening them off will be the next steps next season.

Rough. We're knocking back and hogging the long stuff so it doesn't fold over over the winter. Next season it will be at 1.25inches. Finding stray shots will be so much easier.

Next season we're planning even more live entertainment. Social gatherings and tournaments. Website is in the works to make it easy to purchase our golf packages and lessons over the Christmas season! Stay tuned for that!

Yesterday - patrons of The Ahmic Club donated generously to the Magnetawan Community Pantry. When we got to the Pantry it was virtually empty - their donations filled it🙂. A reminder to keep filling it when you have opportunity - there is a great need in our community!

Dave Kaye is just warming up! Come on out to the Ahmic Club. Bring a food donation for the Community Pantry if you can. Come have a seat under the tent and enjoy the tunes. $10 green fees all day with a donation for the community pantry! Let's stock the pantry up!

Great News! Dave Kaye is coming to entertain on Sunday Afternoon from 3 - 5 pm "Happy Hour" in celebration of Labour Day Weekend. Come and enjoy the entertainment and beverage specials. 🙂
