Hi Everyone! So I was just doing a little research on the Avon SKIN SO SOFT BUG GUARD for a customer that was wondering about using it on her children. It is DEET Free and uses 10% Icaridin as it's active ingredient. Icaridin, while still being a chemical, is less irritating and will not dissolve plastic as DEET will. Icaridin is safe for children over 2 months of age. Alot of people swear by using the SKIN SO SOFT OIL as a safe bug guard for children, and even horses and other pets. I haven't tried the bath oil yet, but definitely will be this summer ( if summer in Saskatchewan ever happens!)
