Sometimes tattoos are meaningful. They can represent a moment in time, a feeling, a memory. Sometimes tattoos are silly, or beautiful, or happen to be just the right shape to fill a gap. Sometimes they're transformative. They feel like empowerment, & self-love.
K was always self-conscious about her legs. Like many of us, she spent far too much time thinking she'd get the tattoo when she changed her appearance.
