James Cameron School Changing I can’t into I CAN since the 1980’s! Our primary purpose is to provide parents with an affordable choice for their children’s education.

For over 40 years James Cameron School has been meeting the needs of elementary-aged students who have great potential, but who learn differently, because they have learning disabilities such as dyslexia. James Cameron is accredited by the Independent Schools Branch of the B.C. Ministry of Education. We teach the BC Ministry curriculum in a way that children with learning disabilities will learn, grow, and realise their potential. With small class sizes, daily one-on-one tutoring, we provide an individualized learning environment specific to the needs and learning style of your child. Our staff are all accredited professionals committed to our students’ education and well-being. The James Cameron School community embraces the core values of RESPECT, HOPE, CARING, and COMMITMENT.

Parents can attend in person or virtually. Your participation is important, as parent quorum is needed for the meeting to proceed.

✅ Attendance counts toward 1 parent volunteer hour.

Students had a great time at Momentum Movement Academy learning the basics of parkour and exploring the climbing and obstacle equipment. They practiced balancing, jumping, climbing, and problem-solving while challenging themselves to try new skills. Students showed confidence, determination, and teamwork as they encouraged one another and celebrated their successes.
