James Cameron School Changing I can’t into I CAN since the 1980’s! Our primary purpose is to provide parents with an affordable choice for their children’s education.

For over 40 years James Cameron School has been meeting the needs of elementary-aged students who have great potential, but who learn differently, because they have learning disabilities such as dyslexia. James Cameron is accredited by the Independent Schools Branch of the B.C. Ministry of Education. We teach the BC Ministry curriculum in a way that children with learning disabilities will learn,

grow, and realise their potential. With small class sizes, daily one-on-one tutoring, we provide an individualized learning environment specific to the needs and learning style of your child. Our staff are all accredited professionals committed to our students’ education and well-being. The James Cameron School community embraces the core values of RESPECT, HOPE, CARING, and COMMITMENT.

You’re Invited to Our End-of-Year Concert & Grade 7 Graduation!
Join us as we celebrate a fantastic year of creativity and hard work, and honour our Grade 7 students as we send them off in style. We’re excited to share the music videos created in class and showcase student artwork.
👕 Uniforms are optional — just come ready to enjoy the evening!
Schedule:
• Early dismissal: 11:45 a.m.
• Grade 7 Graduation: Families arrive at 5:00 p.m., dinner at 5:30 p.m.
• Concert: All other students return at 6:45 p.m. (held in the church sanctuary)

Yesterday and today, some of our students proudly represented JCS at the MRSS Track and Field events! 🏃‍♂️

They gave fantastic effort in events like running races and long jump, showing determination, sportsmanship, and great school spirit throughout both days.

We’re so proud of their hard work and positive attitude—well done to all who participated! 👏
