Natasha is a dedicated pelvic floor physiotherapist who is passionate about helping people feel strong, confident, and comfortable in their bodies at every stage of life. Her warm, empathic, and caring approach allows her to meet each client where they are and work together to establish meaningful goals for treatment.

Natasha holds an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. Early in her career, she was drawn to pelvic health and has since pursued specialized education in the field. She is passionate about ongoing learning and continues to expand her knowledge through courses and mentorship. She has also completed training in Medical Acupuncture.

Natasha takes a holistic, individualized approach to care, combining education, exercise, hands-on treatment, and acupuncture when appropriate. She works with a wide range of pelvic health concerns, with a special interest in supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, menopause, and the changes that occur throughout life.

Outside of the clinic, Natasha loves to stay active through long-distance running, strength training, hiking, and yoga. When she’s not on the move, she loves exploring her creative side through painting and photography.

Give her a warm welcome to the MPH family!!

Our PT student from earlier this year is all done her clinical placement now but this last video is just so good and highlights the pelvic floor so perfectly! 🙌

Check out her description of what the pelvic floor is, what it’s responsible for, and common symptoms that might indicate pelvic floor dysfunction.

Graduating in a few months? Working for the past 1-2 years? Wondering about what’s next for you? What growth could look like? Thinking of expanding your clinical skillset in pelvic health world?

We would love to invite you to our Pelvic Health 101 Day this Saturday. We have intentionally created this as a small group event so that you can have meaningful conversations with others who have been in your shoes, hear stories from pelvic floor physios 1-2 years out of school, and have your questions answered candidly.

There are a couple of spots left!! If you have any questions, send us a DM! See you on Saturday!!

This post is a few weeks late but it’s never too late to highlight an amazing team member!

Mirusha is a Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist at both of our GTA (Woodbine/Steeles) and Markham East (Bur Oak Ave/Hwy 7) clinics.

To make sure she starts the day off on the right foot, Mirusha spends every morning with a coffee and with her dog Ziggy ☕️🐾

Top of her bucket list: Skydiving and hiking the Machu Picchu!

Our summer staff party had a bit of a shaky start after the World Cup loss and a few close calls with the rain, but thankfully the clouds cleared and the afternoon turned into the perfect summer day filled with sunshine, a warm breeze, great food, and even better company. We played some card games, threw around the football, and had some good laughs☀️🏈🃏

A big thank you to Slabtown Cider Co. for hosting our team! This is exactly what summer should feel like.

We’re incredibly grateful for this amazing team of humans. They are kind, thoughtful, compassionate, and exceptionally good at what they do. Every day they show up ready to make a difference in the lives of our clients, and it’s a privilege to work alongside people who genuinely care so deeply.

Spending time together outside the clinic is one of our favourite reminders that we’re more than just coworkers. We are a team that supports one another, celebrates each other’s wins, and always has each other’s backs. That sense of connection is what makes Markham Pelvic Health such a special place, for both our team and the people we care for.

To the entire MPH team: thank you for everything you do. We couldn’t do it without you. ❤️

June is Men’s Health Month 💙

Urinary urgency in men is more common than many people think and it’s not always just related to the prostate.

Symptoms like frequent urination, rushing to the bathroom, waking up multiple times at night, or feeling like you can’t fully empty your bladder can also be connected to pelvic floor muscle dysfunction, bladder habits, stress, and lifestyle factors.

The good news is that these symptoms are treatable and you do not have to just live with them. Pelvic health physiotherapy can help identify the root cause and support you in feeling more comfortable, confident, and in control again 💙

June is Men’s Health Month 💙

This week we’re talking about something that deeply affects quality of life but rarely gets an honest conversation: sexual health.

Did you know that approximately 50% of men in Canada over the age of 40 are affected by erectile dysfunction?

Swipe through to learn about common symptoms, how the pelvic floor plays a role, and how pelvic PT can be part of the solution. 👉

One more week to go in our Men’s Health Month series!💙
