Hello and welcome!

My name is Julie Maure. I am a local nurse who has been serving the area since 2007, first as a Health Care Aide, and now as an LPN. Throughout my career I’ve worked in long-term care, home care, acute care, community health, and primary care.

Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside our wonderful physicians, nurse practitioner, nurses, and healthcare teams in the Falher and McLennan medical clinics, while also providing advanced foot care services at the Falher Clinic on Fridays.
During that time, I’ve seen a growing need for accessible foot care, wound care, circulation assessments, and preventative lower limb care in our rural communities.

As demand grew, so did the need for more time and services than I could provide in my current setting. Opening my own clinic will allow me to expand the care I can offer within my nursing scope, while still continuing part-time work with the medical clinics throughout the summer.

I truly love the work I do and the people I work with, and I’m excited to create a space that helps fill an important gap in rural healthcare.

Kimiwan Health will be opening in McLennan soon! Expected launch: August–September 2026.

Services expected to be available at opening:

• Advanced foot care
• Diabetic foot assessments
• Corn and callus reduction
• Ingrown nail bracing
• Heat-molded insoles with custom modifications
• Custom-molded silicone toe devices
• Padding and pressure offloading for pressure areas and high-risk feet
• Individualized care planning and patient education

As the clinic grows future services will include:

• ABI/TBI vascular testing
• Wart treatment

• Wide-width, foot-friendly footwear options
• Clinically selected products to support foot health, skin integrity, mobility, wound prevention, and lower limb wellness
