Here’s something worth understanding before you book laser hair removal anywhere. 👇🏻
Laser works by targeting the pigment in your hair follicles. The challenge with darker skin tones is that traditional lasers can struggle to tell the difference between the pigment in the hair and the pigment in the skin itself which is why, with the wrong device or the wrong settings, there’s a real risk of burns or discolouration.
That’s not a reason to avoid laser. It’s a reason to choose your clinic carefully.
