Join us this Wednesday from 1:30–2:30 p.m. at the Veiner Centre for our monthly Tinnitus Support Group, led by the Medicine Hat Hearing Centre.

This month, we’re pleased to welcome Dr. Jeff from Powers & Jans, who will be speaking about the connection between injuries and tinnitus.

The Tinnitus Support Group is a welcoming, judgment-free space to connect with others who understand the challenges of tinnitus, share experiences, learn coping strategies, and find support.

Here's a throwback hearing test machine that Jill and Trisha got to play with at the course in Edmonton last week.
No button to signal you hear the beeps, just a good old fashion ✋️ gesture did the trick back then.
So cool to see this, i guess it's what you would call vintage!

This past week, the Special Olympics were in Medicine Hat. The staff at Medicine Hat Hearing Centre volunteered in 2 different areas. Trisha and Amy helped in the Healthy Hearing testing area, and all 3 girls volunteered in the Participants Lounges at 2 separate hotels. Amy and Trisha even pulled the crazy shift of 3am to 6 am!! Great job girls! ☕️ 😴
It was an honour to be a part of such a huge and inspiring event!! Congrats to all the participants and hopefully everyone has a safe journey home!

Day 1 of the course done!!
Jill and Trish headed to West Edmonton Mall to Bubba Gump Shrimp for some yummmmmy supper and (alcohol free 😆) slushy drinks. The cups were super awesome and you get to take them home. How fun is that?!
This is the only one in Canada, if you're ever in Edmonton swing in and try it! 🐟🍤🦐🍟

Trisha and Jill are in Edmonton for the next 2 days, taking the Occupational Audiometric Technician course. It's actually very interesting to know the different noise levels of even recreational activities.
We care about your ears, no matter what you do for work or play!!

**Update to today's tinnitus support group info**
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Dr Jeff can not make today's meeting.
We apologize for this and hope to make it up in one of the next meetings.
The meeting will still take place as scheduled at 1:30pm today!!

Tomorrow is the August meeting for the tinnitus support group at the Veiner Centre.
Each month, Trisha will be bringing in different health care professionals that deal with tinnitus caused by their field of expertise.
Tomorrow's guest will be Dr Jeff Staheli D.C, a chiropractic practioner at the Power and Jans Centre.
