North Central Health Care Foundation is honoured to welcome
Dr. Kaleb Dahlgren as a special guest & judge at our Silver Spectacular Gala.

Kaleb’s connection to our community is one that carries deep meaning.

On April 6, 2018, following the Humboldt Broncos bus crash, Melfort Hospital was among the hospitals called upon to respond when the unimaginable happened. That night, healthcare professionals in our region stepped forward to care for those who needed them most — including Kaleb’s friends and teammates.

Now, Kaleb is returning to our community with a desire to give back to a hospital and healthcare team that were there during one of the most difficult nights imaginable.

𝑯𝙞𝒔 𝒑𝙧𝒆𝙨𝒆𝙣𝒄𝙚 𝙖𝒕 𝒐𝙪𝒓 𝑮𝙖𝒍𝙖 𝙞𝒔 𝒂𝙡𝒔𝙤 𝙖 𝙥𝒐𝙬𝒆𝙧𝒇𝙪𝒍 𝒓𝙚𝒎𝙞𝒏𝙙𝒆𝙧 𝙤𝒇 𝒘𝙝𝒚 𝒘𝙚 𝙛𝒖𝙣𝒅𝙧𝒂𝙞𝒔𝙚.

In a small community, we may never know when our hospital will be called upon to respond to an extraordinary situation. What we can do is help ensure our healthcare professionals have the equipment, technology and resources they need to be ready — for the everyday emergencies, and for the moments we hope never come.

This year’s Gala is about more than raising funds. It is about strengthening the healthcare that our families, neighbours and communities depend upon.

We are deeply honoured that Kaleb will be part of a very special evening, helping us give back to the people and the place that have given so much to others.
