This doesn’t mean I don’t love supplements but so many people are relying on supplements to do all the heavy lifting when they’re still restricting then over indulging, staying up late scrolling, relying on caffeine to get them through the day, coming home to a glass of wine, using Teflon pans, etc.

Don’t knock it till you try it!

That after-work wine craving? That’s cortisol talking. Your nervous system is dysregulated and it wants a fast fix.

The problem — alcohol spikes cortisol even more, tanks your blood sugar overnight, and keeps your body stuck in fat-storing mode. It’s literally working against your weight loss goals.

We can’t bury our stressors. We can’t rely on substances to bandaid the problem. And we can’t out-diet a nervous system that’s on fire.
