Jumping on the career horror story trend… all careers have things that we all hate or can allow our imagination to create a horror movie out of! Here’s mine;

1. 60 min full body focus - can’t effectively be done! Sure we can work full body but it won’t be deep tissue in all areas, rather full body with focus BNS as an example
2. Deep pressure without elbows - plz don’t make me break my thumbs 🙏🏼
3. Client no-shows or unusual late cancellations - don’t make me wonder where you are
4. FEET - enough said
5. Being called a masseuse - this one is often misunderstood but has the undertones of a “body worker” “unlicensed massager” or a you know what kind of worker - please don’t call anyone who has a RMT license a masseuse! It’s RMT/MT - Registered Massage Therapist/Massage Therapist. Both titles are protected by the CMTO

I am happy to share that the roof replacement project at Cavan Chiropractic is now finished, and we are back to normal operations!

Hi everyone 👋 I figured it was time to properly introduce myself!

My name is Samantha, and I’m a Registered Massage Therapist based in Millbrook and Lakefield, ON. I graduated from Fleming College in 2023 and started my career at a small multidisciplinary clinic—and I truly love what I do.

Massage therapy actually played a huge role in my own recovery after a concussion, which is what inspired me to pursue this career. Now, I’m passionate about helping others feel better in their bodies—whether that’s headaches, TMJ dysfunction, sports or workplace injuries, or just everyday tension and stress.

Outside of the clinic, I’m a small-town girl at heart. I grew up near Buckhorn, ON and still love spending time with my family. I’m also a proud dog mom to my angel pup, Lily 🐾

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me:
🌸 Spending time in the garden or outdoors
📸 Taking photos
🏕 Camping or traveling
🎶 At concerts
🍝 Cooking (or eating!) good food

My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported in your treatment—and to help you get back to doing what you love, pain-free.
