Hi Everyone,
As many of you know, my wife Fawn, Tattoos by Fawn passed away in late October.
The months leading up to, and following her death have been tumultuous and overwhelming to say the least. My heart is heavy, she was my world.
Before Fawn died, I had a lot of trouble imagining myself continuing on tattooing without her, and I considered returning to my old career. However, she was quite resolute that I not quit because it would be a huge step back for me in life, and she encouraged me to continue on. She believed in my abilities and potential, so I will give it my all to realize that for myself and to honour her.
After months of uncertainty, I’ve finally secured a place to start working again in Millet. I’m happy to be teaming up with our amazing friend Miranda, Artful Ink. Her family has been a godsend to us and I’m so happy to be working with such a great person. I will be rebranding soon because I believe in forging my own path, but that announcement will come when everything is in place. Lines of communication will remain open with until then.
I realize that I’m basically starting from the ground up again at this point and I am extremely overwhelmed. I’ll be posting again and getting back into my DM’s and e-mails, I apologize for my absence.
I hope to become self sufficient again soon. My first step is to get back up and running again, so I’ll be posting new artwork and running some great deals. I’ll be prepared to start tattooing again by Wednesday (Dec. 17) and I’m really looking forward to getting back to work, and regaining a sense of purpose.
