It's been 2 months now that I've had to take a pause due to a very bad injury that left me in so much pain, both physically and emotionally.
It was really, really hard.
A few weeks ago, the pain was starting to settle, the weather began to warm and I was craving movement outdoors and that took me out on my kayak with my two youngest kids. With the help of my husband getting me in and out of the kayak we explored, paddled and just took everything in. The warmth of the sunshine on my face, the coolness of the water, the sound on the water splashing on the underside of the kayak and the laughter and excitement of my kids. And in this moment, I knew everything was going to be okay.
The last few weeks were spent at our trailer, tucked under the canopy of the cedarwood trees, sitting by crackling fires, listening to the many songs of the birds, feeling the earth's energy beneath by toes and connecting with each other.
It was beautiful.
Nature is healing, grounding and restorative. It was the missing piece of my healing journey.
It also showed me how much I truly love the work that I do and that I need to get back into the studio, seeing all of you and also getting back into all my self-care routines and treatments as well.
So over the next month or so I will be very slowly returning to the studio with very limited hours and with a new treatment menu that will capture this healing energy and all the growth over the last couple of years with the many trainings that I have taken.
I want to thank you for being patient and all your support during this time with all your messages and visits.
Enjoy the summer, get out in nature and I will see you very soon!
XO
Jamie
