Active acne and post-acne marks look different — and they need completely different approaches.

Active acne is inflammation. The goal is to calm it, reduce bacteria and stop new breakouts from forming.

Post-acne marks are what’s left behind — pigmentation, discoloration, uneven texture and sometimes scarring. The inflammation is gone, but the skin is still recovering. And restoring skin texture is just as important as fading the marks themselves.

Treating them the same way is one of the most common mistakes we see — and it’s why so many people feel stuck.

Follow us for more breakdowns like this — we talk about skin the way it actually is. 🤍

The math doesn’t lie. 😅

Waxing. Sugaring. Razors. Shaving creams. Ingrown treatments.

Every month. For years.

Laser is a one-time investment with lasting results. Everything else is a subscription you never actually agreed to.

Blackheads and closed comedones — and nothing gives lasting results? Here’s why. 👇

Salicylic acid is one of the most effective ingredients for this — it penetrates deep into the pore and dissolves the buildup from within.

But if the root cause isn’t addressed — they’ll keep coming back.

Why do pores keep getting clogged?
— Incorrect or incomplete cleansing
— Excess sebum production
— Wrong skincare products with comedogenic ingredients
— Lack of regular exfoliation

Comedones are a signal that something needs to be corrected — not just treated on the surface.

If they keep coming back despite everything you’ve tried — DM us to book a consultation. We’ll figure out what’s actually going on with your skin. 🤍

Had multiple laser hair removal sessions — and barely any results? Chances are it’s not about you👇

Reason 1 — the device.
90% of your result depends on laser power. If it’s not powerful enough — it can’t destroy the follicle. Hair might get finer — but it won’t disappear.

Reason 2 — the settings.
Even the best device without the right settings gives mediocre results. Skin tone, hair type, treatment zone — all of this needs to be reviewed at every single session.

Reason 3 — preparation.
Waxing or sugaring between sessions removes the follicle — the laser has nothing to target. And incorrect intervals mean you miss the active growth phase entirely.

One case where laser genuinely won’t work.
Grey, white, light red or very blonde hair has very little melanin — and laser works specifically through melanin. This needs to be communicated honestly before a course begins.

Had a disappointing experience? Come in for a complimentary consultation — we’ll go through your situation and tell you honestly what to expect.

Deep cleansing facial or chemical peel for acne — which one actually makes a difference?

Both have their place. But they work in completely different ways — and choosing the wrong one for your skin can slow your progress significantly.

A deep cleansing facial removes surface congestion, clears pores and gives your skin a fresh reset. It’s effective and feels incredibly satisfying.

A chemical peel goes deeper — it accelerates cell turnover, targets post-acne pigmentation, reduces active inflammation, and helps prevent new breakouts from forming.

The answer isn’t which one is better. It’s which one your skin actually needs right now — and what result you’re looking for.

That’s exactly what we figure out together at a consultation.

DM us to book yours — online or in clinic. 🤍
