We love to see you reach your recovery goals!

When you get past the acute pain stage of rehab we can add in fun challenges. Stability training for standup paddlboarding or skiing is also helpful for any sport, but we'd modify it to mimic what you're planning to get back to.

And if you don't have any injuries, but want to prepare for skiing curling, hiking, skating, skateboarding, paddlboarding etc, this is fantastic for injury prevention. You'll also notice that you're better prepared for the balance demands of these activities!

Ankle sprain? Yeah, it’s frustrating but it’s not the end of your game. 🏃‍♂️

Part 1 of sport injuries series by co-op student, Soraya.

As a student athlete at Iona Catholic Secondary School, I’ve had my fair share of ankle injuries. The purpose of this post is to help out other student athletes like myself, and get you back to your sport.

Recovery isn’t just rest, it’s rebuilding strength, balance, and confidence one step at a time. From swelling and setbacks to that first pain-free sprint… every phase matters.

Listen to your body. Stay consistent with rehab. Celebrate small wins. Because getting back into your sport isn’t just about being healed, it’s about coming back stronger. 💪
