nomadicnursenetwork.com After 13+ years in emergency and travel nursing, I stopped waiting for permission to build a life that felt like freedom. Now I help nurses and healthcare professionals do the same — through mentorship, business coaching, integr

ative health, and honest conversations about what it really takes to reinvent yourself. Where I share the journey of building multiple businesses, navigating career transitions, and trusting God in the spaces between where you are and where you're called to be. If you're a nurse, a healthcare professional, or simply someone who knows they were made for more — you belong here. The courage to build.

+1 🎈

Another year of life by God’s grace.

One thing about me is that even though it’s hard, I’ll always try to be the better than I was yesterday, a week ago or last year. If I didn’t change, be uncomfortable or challenge myself, then I didn’t do it right.

But for the first time, I don’t even want to reflect back on the last year and here’s why.

I’ll always remind myself of the great things that have been accomplished but it also comes with a glimpse of the negative. But as someone who is very hard on themselves, that glimpse can become an open door very quickly, and it makes gratitude much harder when it shouldn’t be.

This morning, my reflective thoughts were put to a halt with one verse:

“But Lot’s wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭19‬:‭26‬ ‭NIV‬‬

If I have a goal to not be close to who I was in the past, why do I need to look back? Especially if it makes me a pillar of salt.

Sometimes we must let go of the things that are not just bad for us, but no longer serve us towards where we’re going, even if they’re good.

Gratitude doesn’t always require a deep dive into reflection, just an open heart for the love of God over our lives.

“It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed. On that day no one who is on the housetop, with possessions inside, should go down to get them. Likewise, no one in the field should go back for anything. Remember Lot’s wife! Whoever tries to keep their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life will preserve it.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭17‬:‭30-33‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Let God rain sulfur on my past life, ways, habits, all for His glory and His plan.

Before the big dream comes the small step. God doesn't always speak in thunder — sometimes He whispers in the quiet, ordinary moments.

Learn to listen to the small things. Honor them. Act on them. Because greatness was never built in one leap — it was built one faithful small step at a time. 🌱

While you're sitting there questioning whether you're good enough, someone across the room is pointing at you saying 'see, it's possible.'

Your self-doubt doesn't cancel out your impact🤍
