One year ago on May 31st, this space was still known as Compass Rose Salon - and while I’m grateful for where it began, deep down I knew my vision for the space was something different.

I envisioned a place that felt grounding. Calm. Welcoming. A place where different practitioners could come together under one roof and support people in meaningful ways - not just through beauty or treatment alone, but through connection, wellness, nervous system support, and genuine care.

Over the last year, Cedar & Sea Wellness Collective has slowly unfolded into exactly that 🌿

What started as an idea became a collective of incredibly talented women, each bringing their own gifts, specialties, and energy into this space. Together, we’ve shared long days, growth, learning, laughter, support, and so many conversations with the beautiful people who walk through our doors.

To everyone who has practiced under this roof over the past year - thank you for helping shape Cedar & Sea into what it is today 💕

And to our clients, friends, family, and community - thank you for supporting local, trusting us with your care, and growing alongside us.

Different practices. Shared values. One collective.

Here’s to one year of Cedar & Sea 🎉🤍

Most people think acupuncture works by placing needles directly where the pain or “problem” is.

But that’s not always how I treat.

The method I use is called the Balance Method, and it works more like flipping a switch in the body.

Your body functions like a network of circuits. When one area becomes irritated, tight, inflamed, or blocked, there’s often a connected pathway somewhere else that can help regulate it.

Instead of needling directly into a painful shoulder, jaw, or lower back, I may use points on the arm or leg to “reset” the pathway involved.

Think of it like this:
If a light isn’t working, sometimes you don’t fix the bulb — you check the breaker panel.

Acupuncture works similarly. We look for the circuit that controls the area, and we help restore balance there.

This approach can be especially helpful for:
• Back and hip pain
• Shoulder tension
• Jaw pain and teeth grinding
• Headaches
• Seasonal allergies
• Hormones

This system can be used for pain, anxiety, or even more systematic issues by shifting and tunning the body through balancing.

It’s structured, precise, and often feels gentler because we’re not always working directly in already sensitive areas.

The body isn’t separate parts — it’s an interconnected system.

When we reset the switch, the body often does the rest

Why i dont always treat where it hurts!
Acupuncture isn’t always about treating where it hurts 🌿

The body is interconnected. Sometimes I’ll needle somewhere completely different, and that’s when things start to shift.

We just have to listen to it and watch how it responds.

Neck pain, foot pain, elbow pain, gout pain… and so much more 🌿

So how does it work?

During treatment, we take a more dynamic approach. I place a few needles and then check in. I’ll have you move your body, tune into what you’re feeling, and notice what’s changed.

Has the pain shifted?
Has it decreased?
Does it feel different?

We’re working with your body together in real time. From there, we adjust and continue to guide the body based on how it’s responding.

If you’ve been dealing with something for a while and it hasn’t been shifting, I see you. This is exactly the kind of work I love helping with.

Most of the time, we can see and feel changes right on the spot

If you’ve been dealing with something like this, I’m here to help—we can work through it together🤍
