The better question isn’t always which product is best. It’s which treatment plan is best for you.

Some patients come in asking for a specific neuromodulator because it worked for a friend, they saw it online or they’ve always used the same one.

These products aren’t interchangeable simply because they all soften muscle movement.

Your anatomy, muscle strength, previous response, treatment goals, desired movement and even how long a product tends to work for you are all part of the conversation.

Sometimes I recommend staying with what has consistently worked. Sometimes there’s a reason to consider another option.

My job isn’t to sell you a vial. It’s to understand your face and choose a treatment plan that makes sense for you.

Before we chase lines, we look at the foundation.

Think about a crack in a wall. You can keep repairing what you see on the surface, but if the foundation underneath is changing, the cracks may continue to appear.

Our skin is different of course, but I like this analogy when talking about collagen.

As we age, collagen and elastin within the skin change and decline. Over time, we may start to notice thinner skin, changes in texture, laxity and less structural support.
That’s why my approach isn’t always about treating an individual line. Sometimes, it’s about supporting the quality of the skin underneath.

Two treatments I use for collagen support are:
Morpheus8 combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen remodeling and improve skin texture and firmness.

Radiesse® is a calcium hydroxylapatite injectable that can provide support while also stimulating the body’s production of collagen and elastin. Depending on the treatment area and goal, it can also be used in a diluted or hyperdiluted approach for skin quality.

Neither is an overnight treatment. Collagen takes time. Treatment choice, number of sessions and expected results are individualized based on your skin, anatomy and goals.

Because sometimes healthy aging isn’t about chasing every line!

I’ve never understood why we feel entitled to have an opinion about how another woman chooses to age.

Treatments. No treatments. A little help here and there. Or absolutely nothing at all.

Because your face isn’t a public discussion.

It’s yours, and that’s really the whole point. Everyone else can manage their own face. 😉

If I’m being honest, I think we naturally align with our people.

I’m not everyone’s injector and I genuinely love that.

I don’t work in a spa, although I personally LOVE a beautiful spa experience. I work in a medical clinic with Dr. Jenny and Tamara. We actually just call it “the office.” 🤍

And the office feels like exactly where I’m supposed to be.

You’ll find scalpels, biopsy punches, sutures and bandages alongside neuromodulators, dermal filler and other aesthetic treatments.

While aesthetics can be beautiful, it’s still medicine.

Dermal filler is an implanted medical device. Injections go beneath the skin. Needles and cannulas enter tissue. Even when a treatment is elective, it can still carry risks and potential complications.

For me, working in an environment that feels like medicine makes sense.

I like the clinical side.
I like anatomy.
I like conservative treatment plans.
I like having a plastic surgeon in the next room.

I like being able to say, “I don’t think you need that,” and I really like taking care of the people who trust me with their faces.

That approach won’t resonate with everyone and it doesn’t need to.

There are so many talented injectors and beautiful places to receive treatment. We all have different styles, philosophies and environments that feel right to us.

Somehow, the people who value the way I practise seem to find me.

And I’m incredibly grateful they do. 🤍
