I didn't even realize how much chaos I was causing in my own life.
No, I wasn't wildly, irresponsibly chaotic. Instead I was creating mental chaos - overwhelm, second guessing everything, the late night thoughts that never end, hyper fixation on little things... that kind of chaos.
Something felt off and I become obsessed with trying to fix it by looking to outside sources - which can be helpful, but in my case it was making the overwhelm worse and making me feel worse because I was questioning everything.
This obsession led me to consume more, sign up for more, try more... But doing more wasn't the answer. And I finally realized it when I slowed down, sat with the feeling and asked myself what was ACTUALLY going on.
That's when I realized I was focusing so much energy and attention on things I didn't enjoy that I had none left for the things I truly wanted to and love doing.
So I stopped. Stopped adding more, stopped fixing, stopped pushing.
And low and behold, I immediately felt a mental and emotional shift because I remembered that more isn't always better. Less can be the answer.
I'm going back to the basics. The parts of my work that I love which is working with people, so I'm hosting a FREE Breathwork session Sunday, July 5 at 7pm.
