Chartwell Retirement was honoured to be the Platinum Sponsor of this year’s Westwood Lake Dragon Boat Regatta in Nanaimo, helping raise funds in support of the NRGH Oncology Clinic. Thank you to all participants, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters who came together for 2 incredible days of teamwork, community spirit, and fundraising for a meaningful cause. 💙 One of our very own team members, Danielle(Rec Aide) was a paddler and recipient of a gold and bronze medal in the Silver category. We had a Fried Pickle Party! With many of our residents never having tried a fried dill pickle before - they were a hit! It was a scrumptious addition to our afternoon snack. Just crispy enough and dipped in a mildly spicy ranch dip. Yumm! Everyone wanted more than one!
