Saw the doctor a few minutes ago and he says things are looking good. When I asked him why this keeps coming back, he said they never got rid of it in the first place. So, I am on the right antibiotics now, but can't go home until Sunday, possibly Monday. J has to go to TO for the next week for a welding course. But I already feel the difference with the new antibiotics. It's very likely that I had the one infection while I was having chemo and have been walking around with it for a month now. The antibiotics they gave me to go on for 8 days just masked it; 3 days after I went off, it went squirrelly again. The good news is my hemoglobin went up to 97. Tired still, nap time. Hi everyone, so I'm in the hospital again with yet another two infections, apparently pneumonia and a bladder infection. I'm pretty bummed out because it was supposed to be chemotherapy day today. So I ended up getting super confused again, and Jason rushed me in on Monday morning. I was trying to hold out; I knew that I was not well, so I tried to hold out because I had an MD appointment with my new oncologist. I ended up getting antibiotics from the pharmacy for Sunday night and Monday morning, but it was too late. They told me that I have been on the wrong antibiotics, and now they've put me on something that's super strong. I'm going to be here for 5 to 7 days. I'm a little better now, actually, I'm doing a lot better now, just not there yet. So here are the up and down days. At least I'm getting closer to being myself. I will continue to update everybody, but it seems like all my scans have turned out okay. I know I will likely have to wait another 2 weeks for chemo, which might be better because Jason is out of town for the week next week for work.

So I came in yesterday with 2 infections, pneumonia and a urine infection. I was also very confused the last few days, doing things like calling my mom at 3:00 am and asking Jay if we were the only ones in the house yesterday as I was cleaning the kitchen (again). I was having a full conversation with him, then I looked over to where I thought he was, and no one was there. I said, 'Oh, yes, you're at work.' My lungs got really bad, and I actually had to wear an adult diaper because I couldn't control my bladder at all. I said I would share the good times and the bad. The chemo nurses stressed the importance of rest after treatment. I am getting 2 different types every 21 days; it's strong chemo, so no matter how I feel after treatment, especially with the steroids in play, I need to stay put. The doctors have said exercise in moderation is okay, even going to one dragon boat practice a week is good. If I go to the gym, I could get sick, and I am tempted to do more. I love indoor rowing; it works all areas, and I can go at my pace safely. I am sharing this because I have learned the importance of resting no matter how I feel after chemo πŸ€•πŸ’€πŸ₯πŸ’”πŸ˜΄. Well, it figures. I knew I had an ultrasound scheduled for today; I just didn't know it was scheduled for 8:00 pm. It's 7:45. I went and emptied my bladder, so the nurse brought me these 🀣🀣🀣🀣. The ultrasound will confirm the side of the kidney injury and the cause. πŸ€žπŸ’ŠπŸ₯πŸ‘

So Update labs are looking way better
