As we move further into fall, the days naturally get shorter and darker. With no seasonal clock change to rely on, it’s especially important to be mindful of reduced daylight and make sure the home is safe, comfortable, and easy to navigate.

A few simple checks can make a big difference:

It’s easy for life to get quiet when you rely on care every day. For Romeo, this was often the case. But he held a beautiful wish in his heart: he dreamed of seeing a dolphin in real life. His care team knew all about Romeo's dream and decided it was time to make it happen. When they pulled up to the marine park, you could instantly see the pure excitement take over. He sat right by the water's edge, feeding them fish and beaming with joy as he watched the dolphins glide through the water.

Romeo’s story is heartwarming proof that true care goes far beyond delivering a standard routine. It’s about listening intently to what someone truly wants, stepping outside the everyday, and helping them live each day fulfilling the wishes that sit within their heart.

Everyone deserves to feel fulfilled, regardless of their limitations. Experiencing Romeo’s joy right alongside him as he waved to the dolphins is exactly what makes our work so deeply meaningful.
