One reason managing your health can feel so overwhelming is that we’ve been taught to separate everything.

Sleep. Nutrition. Stress. Digestion. Hormones. Behaviour.

But that isn’t how we actually experience health.

A stressful week can change your sleep. Poor sleep can change appetite and energy. Low energy can make everything feel harder.

It doesn’t mean one thing is causing everything.

It means context matters.

Sometimes the clearest place to start is by asking:

What else is happening around this?

What connections are you making— stress + sleep, sleep + appetite, stress + digestion, or something else?

Maybe you know this cycle.

You decide you need to “get back on track.” So you tighten the rules.

You tell yourself you need more discipline. More restraint.

You criticize yourself when you eat differently than you planned, and promise that tomorrow you’ll do better.

I know that voice because I’ve used it too—especially around food and self-care.

For a long time, I confused being hard on myself with taking responsibility.

They aren’t the same thing.

Kindness doesn’t mean pretending your choices don’t matter. It doesn’t mean avoiding change because change is uncomfortable. And it certainly doesn’t mean abandoning responsibility for yourself.

It means you stop using self-criticism as the price of change.

You can look honestly at a choice and decide you want something different. You can acknowledge that changing a habit is hard. You can make choices that support the life and health you want—without making yourself the enemy in the process.

That’s a very different way to change.

And for me, a far more sustainable one.

I created the Loving Kindness Method to help you learn how to do exactly that. Helping you build a relationship with yourself doesn’t depend on perfection, punishment or endless willpower

You can have a real health goal without making your entire life revolve around it.

The challenge is finding a way to work toward it when you’re busy, stressed, tired, or simply not in the mood.

That’s where I think wellness gets interesting.

Not another perfect plan.

A way to nourish yourself, move, sleep, manage stress, and make choices that reflect what actually matters to you.

That can mean changing a habit, learning to notice an emotion without immediately reacting to it.

It may mean EFT, breathwork, or nervous-system regulation.

Sometimes it means looking at the bigger picture through nutrition, mind-body work, or bioenergetic support.

The tool depends on the person.

That’s the work I do through the Loving Kindness Method: helping you build realistic lifestyle changes that support your health goals.

If you’re ready for support that fits your life, DM me “LK.”

Sometimes you blame your body when the real problem is that your plan only works under perfect conditions.

When you’re rested. When work is calm.
When everyone around you is cooperating.
When motivation is high.
But your health goals have to live inside real life.

Stress happens. Emotions happen. Sleep gets disrupted. Routines get interrupted.

The work is learning how to stay connected to what matters without reacting to every difficult moment.

That might mean regulating your nervous system before making a decision.

Keeping food and movement simple when life gets busy.

Noticing an emotion without immediately trying to fix it, avoid it or feed it.

Returning to your routines without turning one difficult day into a difficult month.

This is a big part of how I work with people through the Loving Kindness Method.

We look at the things that can influence your ability to reach your health goals — nutrition, stress, sleep, behaviour, nervous-system state, emotions, values and the mind-body connection.

Because your body isn’t something you need to fight.

And your plan shouldn’t require you to be perfect.

Share this with someone who needs the reminder that one hard day doesn’t erase the progress they’re making.

You’ve probably seen the growing interest in red light therapy and the claims that come with it.

What’s fascinating is that the science of light and health extends far beyond a single device.

We’re learning that light influences sleep, mood, energy, circadian rhythms, and many of the biological processes that help keep us healthy.

Our bodies are constantly receiving information from the environment around us.

Light is one of those signals.

While technology can be a helpful tool, it’s also a reminder of something simpler, nature has been providing this information all along.

Morning sunlight.
Natural light throughout the day.
A healthy relationship with darkness at night.

Sometimes the most powerful health practices aren’t the most complicated.
They’re the ones we’ve been disconnected from.

✨ If you’re struggling with allergies, food sensitivities, or nervous system dysregulation, DM me “HEAL” to learn more about 1:1 bioenergetic sessions.

Crazy how it’s considered normal to keep searching for the next thing.

The next supplement.

The next diet.

The next solution.

When sometimes the real question is:
Why isn’t my body responding the way I expected?

I’ve found that healing isn’t always about doing more.

Sometimes it’s about creating the conditions that allow the body to respond, adapt, and heal.

A different question often leads to a different answer.

The deeper I go into health, the less interested I become in separate modalities.

The more interested I become in what connects them.
Nutrition. Mindfulness. Biofeedback. Frequencies. Nervous system regulation.

What I’ve discovered is that they’re all exploring the same thing:

What helps the body heal?

The Loving Kindness Method™ emerged from that understanding.

Today, that exploration continues through my clinical work, practitioner education through the BER Method™, and my involvement with the PHAmbassador community through .

Different paths.
The same question.
And I’m more excited than ever about where it’s leading.

✨ Hey there, I’m Lisa Chilvers – welcome to my wellness corner!

It occurred to me that I have NEVER introduced myself and my work. So here it goes.

I’m a holistic nutritionist and mind-body coach who used these very tools to heal my own health struggles. Years ago, chronic stress and anxiety hit hard, but discovering nervous system regulation and energy medicine transformed my life (and steered me onto this path!).

Now I’m on a mission to help you do the same – to reduce stress, nurture your mind & body, and reclaim the vibrant life you deserve. 💫

My approach blends science and soul – think nutrition meets mindfulness meets a touch of vibrational healing magic.

I’m not a flawless guru (just a real human who believes in the real science behind energy and healing), so you can expect nothing but honesty, compassion, and a few geeky facts as we grow together.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed or stuck, you’re not alone – and I’m here to help. 💖

I truly believe you can love who you are and create a life you love, and I’ve got tools to guide you there.

Thank you for being here! Feel free to say hi or share where you’re at in your journey. Let’s heal and evolve together 🙏✨

Happy Mother’s Day to the Nurturers, Healers, and Guardians of Life

Today, we honor the mothers, in all their forms—those who birth, those who raise, those who mentor, and those who fiercely protect the light in others.

But let’s also recognize the unseen weight many mothers carry. The silent sacrifices. The enduring heartache. The endless strength.

Many women today hold not just their own pain, but also the struggles of their children, their families, and their communities.

We are meant to support each other, to come together in unity, to lift each other up, and to heal as one.
Today, may we stand together in strength, compassion, and fierce love.
Happy Mother’s Day. 🌸

I’ve struggled to write these words. Struggled to comprehend my father is no longer physically here. On Dec 8th exactly one month ago, cancer took over my once vital father.

I had the honour of working with him, helping people heal and overcome negative behaviours and health challenges. Although we came about it differently, we both had a desire to see people live their best life.

Being a doctor is who he was and he practiced medicine until the very end. He was dedicated, intelligent and calm.

Grief is a strange emotion. It sneaks up at the most random times. The mind has a hard time recognizing that’s it’s real, this person is gone. Just like that.

There’s a gift in terminal illness, it gave us the opportunity to enjoy a last family vacation, spend quality time together and make sure I let him know I was grateful to be his daughter.

I love you dad. I’ll miss you and still feel like I need you. You’re gone. You’ve transcended physical form. I hope our consciousness connects once again. xoxo ❤️
