Today we pause and acknowledge our amazing Art gallery council members, for their unwavering support behind the scenes, whose vision, advocacy, and dedication to older adults has provided opportunities for seniors across Niagara to showcase their creativity and share their stories.

We are so proud of this beautiful new Senior Art gallery space and community hub sponsored by and look forward to celebrating many more wonderful exhibits together!

✨Our Senior Art Gallery sponsored by Community Hub at Chapel Heights continues to build momentum allowing older adults 55+ the opportunity to engage, explore, meet new friends and today we explored mindfulness with with our very first “Muguloo” art interactive workshop where guests created their own masterpiece.

🙏🏻THANK YOU! Rajshree Jena from Puddles Niagara for sharing your talent with us today along with the many guests who joined us for another FREE community hub session.

🏵️We were delighted to experience first hand this decorative art practice from Southern India that often adorns the entrance of homes, that symbolizes welcoming positivity into the homes and lives of the residents. The art is drawn using rice powder, stone powder or chalk powder with a variety of patterns.

🎭Our ongoing Senior Art Gallery is open to older adults 55+ the first Wednesday of every month offering FREE culinary delights, guest speakers and viewing of our gallery showcasing the brilliant works created by seniors from all across the Niagara Region.

✨We were honoured once again to support on our annual IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s here at Chapel Heights!💙

What a day to cherish, filled with community, compassion and connection with our dear residents, families, staff and friends.🍾🥳🎉

✨THANK YOU! CEO Teena Kindt for joining us for the walk this year.💙🙏🏻🎉

🤗We couldn’t have done it without the many supporters and donors including our internal team members who stepped up for our annual “pie in the face contest” along with those who walked alongside us supporting individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s and Dementia.💙🥰

It’s a theme that emphasizes the continued importance of supporting older adults through the right programs and initiatives that provide wellness, social engagement and education in communities across the province.
Here at our Sedona Care Community - at our Chapel Heights property, our monthly FREE community hubs are open to all older adults across the Niagara Region, offering interactive workshops, viewing of our Senior Art Gallery sponsored by culinary delights, java and the opportunity to meet some new friends.
You won’t want to miss this Wednesday’s “Muggulu” workshop where each guest will create forms of decorative floor art native to South India and take home your very own workbook.
