Her first tattoo with me 🪻🐾

Lavender sprigs to represent her daughter, making this piece that much more meaningful. 💜

She’s also a fellow cat lover and spends countless hours caring for rescue cats and kittens while they wait to find their forever homes. It takes a truly special person to open their heart, time, and energy to animals who need a little extra love.

I always love hearing the stories behind my clients’ tattoos, and this one was extra special. Thank you for trusting me with this piece. 🖤

Yesterday I got to do his very first neck tattoo. 👏🏼

Neck tattoos definitely aren’t for everyone. They’re not the easiest spot to sit through and they’re not the easiest place to tattoo either.

But he showed up, trusted the process, and took it like an absolute badass. 💪🏼🔥

EST 1973.

Thanks for trusting me with such a bold first neck piece.

A first tattoo for this lovely lady! 🖤✨

She absolutely crushed it and sat so well for her appointment.

Even though this wasn’t my original artwork, I still had so much fun tattooing it. I love being able to help bring someone’s ideas to life, especially when it’s their very first tattoo.

Thank you for trusting me with such a special milestone! 🥰

This memorial tattoo was originally created a couple years ago to honor my client’s mother.

He recently came back to add birth flowers representing important family members, turning an already meaningful tattoo into something even more special.

I love when clients return to build on existing pieces. Every addition tells another chapter of their story, and it’s always an honor to help bring those memories and connections to life.

Today’s project was a little different and a lot of fun.

This piece features the Cologne Cathedral done in a loose, sketchy style—exactly the look my client was after. Sometimes tattoos aren’t about perfect lines and clean symmetry; they’re about capturing a feeling, a memory, or an artistic style that speaks to the wearer. This one was all about embracing that rough, hand-drawn aesthetic.

A big thank you to my client for sitting like an absolute champ through the session.

Thanks for the trust. Looking forward to the next one.

Today was one of those days that reminds me why I love what I do.

I tattooed this piece three times—once for a mother, once for a father, and once for their daughter. Every part of the design has a special meaning and tells a piece of their family’s story.

To make it even more memorable, it was her first tattoo. Nerves and excitement are completely normal, but she did amazing.

Thank you all for spending your day with me and allowing me to create something you’ll share forever. These are the kinds of tattoos that mean just as much to me as they do to the people wearing them.

Another session completed on this nature-inspired sleeve. 🌲🏔️

Over the last few appointments, we’ve been building this piece layer by layer, starting with the mountains and gradually working our way down through the landscape. This session was all about bringing the scene to life by adding the stream winding its way through the forest.

One of my favourite things about large-scale projects like this is watching them evolve over time. Each appointment adds another piece of the story, and what starts as a few individual elements slowly becomes a complete scene.

There’s still more to come, but I’m loving how the depth and flow of the landscape are coming together. Looking forward to the next session and continuing the journey.

Thanks to my client for trusting me with another chapter of this sleeve. 🙏

Another piece added to this ongoing leg sleeve today.

This time we added a “hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil” skull design set inside an ornate frame, joining a collection of framed images that tell a very personal story. The sleeve features artwork inspired by drawings from her children along with other meaningful images that represent different parts of her life and journey.

I’ve had the privilege of tattooing her for many years now, and she returns several times each year to continue building this ever-evolving piece. Watching a sleeve grow over time and become something so unique and personal is one of my favourite parts of what I do.

Not only is she a wonderful client, but she always arrives with the best stories and somehow manages to make me laugh until I cry. The hours fly by when she’s in my chair.

Thank you for continuing to trust me with your story and allowing me to be part of the journey. I can’t wait to see where we take this sleeve next.

Sometimes the best additions are the ones that look like they were always meant to be there.

I had the pleasure of adding this beautiful ornamental design to the lower back of one of my lovely clients. It fit perfectly beneath her existing spine tattoo, creating a seamless flow from top to bottom.

I love projects like this—taking an existing tattoo and building around it in a way that feels natural, balanced, and complete.

Thank you for trusting me with your tattoo journey. 🖤

One of the best parts of custom tattooing is taking a reference image and turning it into something original.

For this design, I kept the scorpion and rose concept that she loved, but made a few adjustments to create a custom piece inspired by her zodiac sign and favourite colour. ♏️💗

Every tattoo starts with an idea, and I love helping bring those ideas to life in a way that’s unique to each client.

Which version would you choose—the inspiration or the custom drawing?
