We want to extend a belated welcome to Bilo who has already been supporting the NOTL community since November!

With 21+ years of experience as a Mental Health Nurse, Bilo brings deep expertise, compassion, and a strong commitment to supporting people through life’s challenges and transitions. Since graduating from McMaster University in 2003, Bilo has worked in mental health and addictions services with the past 7 years focused on crisis support in the hospital setting.

Bilo has extensive experience supporting people with mood disorders, anxiety, and addictions, with a thoughtful focus on cultural safety, belonging, and connection. His approach is grounded in coping strategies, behavioural change, and helping people reconnect with themselves and their community.

Bilo has a special interest in men’s mental health and transitions to fatherhood. He is currently seeing clients exclusively virtually for evening sessions.
