After careful consideration I have decided an explanation is needed as to why my books are currently closed. 😞
Over the past 6 months, the tattoo studio I had been working at for the past 3 years has gone through an ownership change, a couple name changes and a lot of changes that were out of my hands.
Unfortunately the studio is no longer open, and after many conversations about reopening and relocating. The new owner decided that she was going to take a hiatus from tattooing.
This whole situation has been disappointing and has left me feeling blindsided. All this happened while I was in Newfoundland, so I couldn't grab my tattoo supplies from the studio. They were taken out of the building thankfully, but the owner has ghosted me and I can't get in touch with her to receive my belongings.
Meaning I can't hunt for another studio to work out of until I have them back. While I am navigating all of this, I will be taking this time to find myself as an artist and develop new skills that will help me provide you all with a better tattoo experience.
I want to express my gratitude to everyone who has helped me throughout the years. I have always appreciated your generosity, support, and loyalty. I also apologize to anyone who could have been impacted by the difficulties and shortcomings over the previous several months. As I navigate this new chapter, I appreciate your patience and unwavering support.
