Ever notice your p**p changes when you're stressed? 💩
Maybe you suddenly can't go.
Or maybe your body decides you need to go RIGHT NOW. 😅
There's actually a reason for that.
Your brain and your gut are constantly communicating through what's known as the gut-brain axis. When you're stressed, anxious, overwhelmed or constantly running in fight-or-flight mode, your nervous system can influence how quickly—or slowly—things move through your digestive tract.
For some people, stress means constipation.
For others, it means urgency, loose stools or more frequent bowel movements.
It can also contribute to that uncomfortable combination of bloating, cramping and feeling like your digestion is just…off.
This is why digestive wellness is about so much more than food.
💜 Hydration
💜 Movement
💜 Sleep
💜 Breathing
💜 Stress management
💜 Nervous system regulation
💜 Healthy bowel habits
They all matter.
And this is something I think we sometimes forget when we're trying to "fix" our digestion:
Your gut doesn't exist separately from the rest of you.
Your body responds to your environment, your emotions, your habits and your stress.
So if your p**p gets weird during stressful times?
Your gut may simply be joining the conversation. 😉
Listen to your body. Support it. Work with it.
